About The Position

Earth Fare Team Members help ensure customers have a fulfilling store visit by answering questions and meeting their shopping needs. They guide customers toward healthy food and trusted products for wellbeing and the household. The Grocery Clerk provides customer service in the grocery, dairy, and frozen food departments and helps maintain those departments and the sales floor. This position is based at Earth Fare Athens in Athens, Georgia. The posting lists the position as full-time/part-time, with a swing shift and an hourly pay range of $12.50 to $16.00.

Requirements

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and squat.
• Able to push, pull, and maneuver heavy loads.
• Able to stand and be on one's feet during the workday.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service in the grocery, dairy, and frozen food departments.
• Keep the grocery, dairy, and frozen food departments well stocked, clean, organized, rotated, and appropriately merchandised.
• Maintain an attractive sales floor by following Earth Fare merchandising guidelines as outlined by the Grocery Manager.
