About The Position

The Grocery Clerk supports the grocery, dairy, and frozen food departments by providing excellent customer service and keeping departments well stocked, clean, organized, rotated, and appropriately merchandised. The role helps maintain an attractive sales floor by following Earth Fare merchandising guidelines. Team members help customers find healthy food and household products that meet Earth Fare’s standards and contribute to a welcoming, community-oriented store experience.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and squat.
• Ability to push, pull, and maneuver heavy loads.
• Ability to stand and be on one's feet during the workday.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of common allergies and specialized dietary terms such as gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian.
• Experience in a retail and/or customer service-oriented environment.
