About The Position
Earth Fare Team Members help ensure customers have a fulfilling store visit by answering questions and meeting their shopping needs. The company’s mission is to help people live healthy lives by guiding customers toward trusted healthy foods and wellness and household products that meet Earth Fare’s standards. The Grocery Clerk provides customer service in the grocery, dairy, and frozen food departments and keeps these departments stocked, clean, organized, rotated, and appropriately merchandised. The clerk maintains an attractive sales floor by following merchandising guidelines provided by the Grocery Manager.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of common allergies and specialized dietary terms, such as gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian.
- Experience working in a retail and/or customer service-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service in the grocery, dairy, and frozen food departments.
- Keep grocery, dairy, and frozen food departments well stocked, clean, organized, rotated, and appropriately merchandised.
- Maintain an attractive sales floor by implementing Earth Fare merchandising guidelines.
