Grocery Clerk - Earth Fare Summerville
About The Position
Earth Fare Team Members help ensure customers have a fulfilling store visit by answering questions and meeting their shopping needs. The company’s mission is to help people live healthy lives. Team Members guide customers toward trusted healthy foods and wellbeing and household products held to the same standards as the food on the shelves. The Grocery Clerk provides customer service in the grocery, dairy, and frozen food departments and keeps those departments stocked, clean, organized, rotated, and appropriately merchandised. The clerk also maintains an attractive sales floor in accordance with Earth Fare merchandising guidelines.
Requirements
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Able to bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and squat.
- Able to push, pull, and maneuver heavy loads.
- Able to stand and remain on one's feet during the workday.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of common allergies and specialized dietary terms such as gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian.
- Experience in a retail and/or customer service-oriented environment.
