About The Position
The Deli Clerk delivers exceptional customer service and prepares food in areas including the deli, juice bar, pizza and sandwich station, and hot bar. The role maintains an attractive sales floor in accordance with Earth Fare merchandising guidelines and verifies that department items have proper signage and pricing. The Deli Clerk also maintains the cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the department, including fixtures, storage areas, workstations, freezers, and coolers. Earth Fare Team Members help customers meet their shopping needs, answer questions, and select food and other products aligned with the company’s mission of helping people live healthy lives. This position is based at Earth Fare Columbia in Columbia, South Carolina, and is listed as full-time/part-time, with an hourly salary range of $13.00 to $15.00.
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and squat.
- Ability to push, pull, and maneuver heavy loads.
- Ability to stand and be on one's feet during the workday.
