About The Position

The Deli Clerk provides excellent customer service and helps maintain product knowledge, product rotation, merchandising, shrink control, and safe working practices. The role includes food preparation, quality assurance, inventory and stock maintenance, cleanliness, sales promotion, and processing customer transactions. The clerk follows company programs and procedures, Health Code guidelines, and safety policies. Food Handler’s Certification is provided at store level when required by state law. Position requirements may vary by store location.
