Decorative Hardware Design Consultant/Sales

Davis Sales•St. George, LA

About The Position

Davis Decorative Hardware is hiring an on-site Decorative Hardware Design Consultant/Sales professional for its high-end decorative and functional hardware showroom in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The showroom serves interior designers, cabinet makers, residential contractors, builders, and homeowners. This is a detail-heavy, fast-paced sales and project-management role—not a low-pressure retail sales-floor position. Consultants typically manage several detailed quotes at a time, tracking revisions, pricing, orders, and communications with clients and vendors from the first conversation through final delivery. The consultant guides clients through product selection according to function, design intent, and budget; prepares and manages accurate quotes and specifications; and owns projects through ordering and delivery. The role requires strong organization, precision, deadline management, professional communication, adaptability, accountability, and comfort following structured systems. Product knowledge is taught through full product training. The position is full-time, salaried, and on-site at 12020 Lakeland Park Blvd., Suite 117, Baton Rouge, LA 70809. The starting salary is $38,000, with a target bonus of up to $5,200 per year. The schedule is weekdays only, with no nights or weekends.
