About The Position

Closets by Design is hiring designers/sales representatives to help residential customers organize their homes. The company provides pre-set appointments with new and repeat clients, all leads and marketing materials, complete paid sales and design training, and ongoing mentorship. The position offers a hybrid remote work arrangement, an open and flexible schedule, and work close to home. There is no cold calling, and no prior sales or design experience is necessary. Compensation is $4,000–$6,000 per month. Closets by Design is a nationally recognized home organizing systems company that designs, manufactures, and installs custom closets, home office furniture, media systems, wall beds, garage cabinetry, and more. The franchise is independently owned and operated, and hiring decisions are made by the franchisee.

Requirements

No degree, certification, or sales experience is needed.
Be coachable and have a growth mindset.
Be willing to complete 12-week paid sales training.
Have reliable access to a motor vehicle, a valid driver's license, and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

Begin the sales route with scheduled appointments using provided leads and marketing materials.
Build rapport with customers and understand their organizational needs.
Walk through customers’ homes to assess opportunities.
Educate customers on products and services.
Follow the sales training and use communication skills to help residential customers with home organizational needs.
Perform other duties as assigned or applicable.
