About The Position

Closets by Design is hiring designers and sales representatives to help residential customers organize their homes. The role combines customer consultation, sales, and design. Consultants receive preset appointments with new and repeat clients, along with leads and marketing materials, and work close to home. The position offers a hybrid remote arrangement with a flexible schedule and the opportunity to work from home. No prior sales experience is necessary; complete 13-week sales training and ongoing mentorship are provided. There is a direct track to become a Senior Sales Designer, with a pay and bonus increase.

Requirements

No degree, certification, or sales experience is required.
Must be coachable, have a growth mindset, and be willing to complete 13-week sales training.
Must have reliable access to a motor vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

Begin the sales route with provided appointments, leads, and marketing materials.
Build rapport with customers and understand their organizational needs.
Walk through customers’ homes to assess opportunities.
Educate customers about products and services.
Follow the sales training process and use communication skills to help residential customers with their home organization needs.
