About The Position

Closets by Design is hiring designers/sales representatives to help residential customers organize their homes. The company provides pre-set appointments with new and repeat clients near the employee’s home, along with leads and marketing materials; there is no cold calling. The position offers a hybrid remote arrangement and an open, flexible schedule. Complete 16-week paid sales training and ongoing mentorship are provided, and no prior sales experience is necessary. There is a path to Senior Sales Designer with a pay and bonus increase. Health and retirement benefits may vary by location. Compensation is listed as $2,000–$4,000 per month. Closets by Design is a nationally recognized home-organizing systems company that designs, manufactures, and installs custom closets, home office furniture, media systems, wall beds, garage cabinetry, and other products. The franchise is independently owned and operated, and hiring decisions are made by the franchisee.

Requirements

No degree, certification, or sales experience is required.
Must be coachable and have a growth mindset.
Must be willing to complete 16 weeks of paid sales training.
Must have reliable access to a motor vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

Meet with customers at pre-set appointments and begin the sales route with provided leads and marketing materials.
Build rapport with customers and understand their organizational needs.
Walk through customers’ homes to assess opportunities.
Educate customers about the company’s products and services.
Follow the sales training and use communication skills to help residential customers with home-organizational needs.
