About The Position

The DCM Case Manager Supervisor manages and leads a team of Case Managers who provide disaster case management services to individuals and families impacted by disasters. The supervisor ensures staff complete needs assessments, develop service plans, make appropriate community referrals, maintain suitable client contact, deliver quality services, and complete service plans in a timely manner. The DCM is the primary point of contact for disaster survivors, assessing disaster-caused unmet needs, helping survivors develop and implement recovery plans, coordinating resources and services, and supporting cases through recovery and closure. The supervisor provides leadership and regular caseload guidance; trains, mentors, and evaluates Case Managers; assigns and reviews caseloads and cases for quality, progress, and compliance; and supports client-centered, trauma-informed service. The role also includes reporting, coordination with supervisors, program managers, and community partners, identifying improvements and staff development needs, and supporting mission-driven program delivery. Regular attendance, travel as needed, and daily use of a personal vehicle are required.
