DC Operations Manager
About The Position
Responsible for planning, directing, and administering all warehouse operations, including put to club, storage, pallet operations, receiving, crossdock, shipping, and other general warehouse operations, while ensuring timely merchandise throughput. The role maintains appropriate staffing to achieve 100% asset integrity on outbound shipments, addresses product issues that impede operations, monitors safety and loss-prevention practices, reviews equipment needs and cost effectiveness, and evaluates distribution changes to improve efficiency and plan for the future of the business. The manager oversees daily put-to-club, storage, pallet sortation, and global sales activities. The role promotes proper product handling, workforce utilization, productivity, and continuous improvement; enforces procedures and policies to maintain asset integrity; and supports safety and security compliance. It also builds relationships with vendors and home-office partners, develops and coaches direct reports, reinforces performance management, and fosters effective communication and a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in a distribution environment.

Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, and administer warehouse operations, including put to club, storage, pallet operations, receiving, crossdock, shipping, and other general operations.
- Ensure timely throughput of merchandise and maintain staffing levels to achieve 100% asset integrity on outbound shipments.
- Address product-related issues that impede operations.
- Monitor safety and loss-prevention practices and ensure adherence to policies.
- Review equipment needs to improve productivity and evaluate cost effectiveness.
- Manage daily put-to-club, storage, pallet sortation, and global sales activities.
- Ensure proper product-handling techniques to prevent damage and shrink.
- Partner with other managers to optimize workforce utilization, productivity, payroll, and continuous improvement.
- Enforce procedures and policies to maintain asset integrity and ensure accountability.
- Investigate discrepancies promptly and provide follow-up training on errors.
- Assist Loss Prevention and Quality Control departments with research and recovery efforts.
- Participate in developing safety programs, raise awareness, and help reduce accidents and incidents.
- Cultivate relationships with outside vendors and home-office partners to improve operational efficiency.
- Reinforce performance management skills with direct reports and encourage team-member development and coaching to achieve goals.
- Ensure proper communication between management and team members to foster a safe working environment.
- Review distribution-philosophy changes to improve efficiency, pursue continuous improvement, and plan strategically for the future of the business.
