About The Position

LOT Commercial Property Services is hiring a Day Porter to keep a commercial property at 4550–4700 W Pico Blvd., Los Angeles, California clean, welcoming, and ready for business. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and Monday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Pay is $18.47 per hour, with weekly pay.

The Day Porter keeps the property presentable throughout the day by collecting trash, cleaning surfaces and restrooms, removing debris, and regularly inspecting the property. The role involves reporting maintenance needs, providing friendly customer service, and working independently while staying physically active, including outdoors. Employment offers are contingent on passing a background check, drug screening, and a job-relevant physical endurance test.

Requirements

• Communicate in English or Spanish, both verbally and in writing.
• Regularly use a mobile device, such as a cell phone or tablet, for timekeeping and document review.
• Provide friendly customer service.
• Be reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Work independently.
• Be physically active and comfortable being on your feet outdoors.
• Pass a pre-employment background check, drug screening, and physical endurance test relevant to the job requirements.

Responsibilities

• Keep the property clean and presentable throughout the day.
• Pick up trash and empty receptacles.
• Sweep, mop, dust, and wipe down surfaces.
• Clean restrooms and high-traffic areas.
• Clean exterior doors, windows, and windowsills.
• Remove debris such as stickers, gum, spills, and graffiti.
• Walk the property regularly to inspect cleanliness.
• Report maintenance or repair needs to a supervisor.
• Use required safety equipment.
