About The Position

LOT Commercial Property Services is hiring a part-time Day Porter to help keep a commercial property clean, welcoming, and ready for business. The role is based at 8110 Mira Mesa Blvd., San Diego, CA 92126, and is scheduled for Saturdays and Sundays from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Pay is $18.25, paid weekly.

The Day Porter keeps the property presentable, monitors cleanliness through regular inspections, and reports maintenance or repair needs to a supervisor. The role involves working independently, providing friendly customer service, and being physically active outdoors. Required safety equipment is provided.

Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication in English or Spanish.
• Regularly use a mobile device, such as a cell phone or tablet, for timekeeping and document review.
• Provide friendly customer service.
• Be reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Be comfortable working independently.
• Be physically active and comfortable being on your feet outdoors.
• Meet the physical demands of standing throughout the shift; bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, pushing, and pulling; lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs; and regularly walking stairs and large properties.
• Successfully pass a pre-employment background check, drug screening, and job-related physical endurance test.

Responsibilities

• Keep the property clean and presentable throughout the day.
• Pick up trash and empty receptacles.
• Sweep, mop, dust, and wipe down surfaces.
• Clean restrooms and high-traffic areas.
• Clean exterior doors, windows, and windowsills.
• Remove debris such as stickers, gum, spills, and graffiti.
• Walk the property regularly to inspect cleanliness.
• Report maintenance or repair needs to a supervisor.
• Use required safety equipment.
