About The Position

Platinum Cleaning & Facility Services (PCFS), a division of Healthcare Services Group, Inc., is hiring a Day Porter to oversee janitorial cleaning and facilities maintenance operations at an assigned primary site. The role supports clean, safe, and welcoming environments and focuses on delivering exceptional service and maintaining customer and resident experiences. The starting pay rate is $16.75 per hour.

Requirements

Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
Willingness to perform routine tasks consistently.
Ability to complete all responsibilities without supervision after training.
Punctuality and reliability for scheduled shifts.
Ability to stand and walk for 6–8 hours daily.
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work around food and cleaning products.
Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies, as required by state, local, and/or customers.
Must provide a criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous custodial or janitorial experience in a commercial setting.

Responsibilities

Perform janitorial tasks in entryways, corridors, cafeterias, and common areas to ensure cleanliness and safety.
Clean and sanitize bathrooms, sinks, floors, and commodes, and replenish lavatory supplies as needed.
Remove trash, empty wastebaskets, and remove graffiti.
Use cleaning solutions safely and follow all safety precautions.
Report equipment or cleaning product needs and malfunctions to supervisors.
Follow infection control and handwashing procedures to maintain a sanitary environment.
Ensure customer service and cleaning standards are consistently met.
Perform other duties as assigned.
