About The Position

The Data Specialist supports the program by maintaining data quality in the Database and EPIC system. The role monitors data and REDcap surveys for quality and completeness, prepares reports, and provides ongoing analysis to identify trends, gaps, and service needs. The specialist maintains a data collection system, completes purchase orders, and communicates data clearly to internal colleagues and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of experience maintaining data; 3–5 years is preferred.
• Ability to communicate with patients, visitors, and coworkers.
• Significant computer experience, including database management and database analysis.
• Proficient use of Excel and Access.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Mathematics, Statistics, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or a related field with one year of experience.

Nice To Haves

• 3–5 years of experience maintaining data.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Knowledge of the EPIC system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a data collection system.
• Monitor data regularly for quality and completeness.
• Prepare and/or review information and reports as requested.
• Prepare related data and narratives for weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
• Analyze data and reports to identify trends, gaps, and service needs.
• Analyze, produce, and communicate data clearly and succinctly to internal colleagues and external stakeholders.
• Monitor and review surveys in REDcap.
• Complete purchase orders.
