About The Position

DashMart is a DoorDash-operated local fulfillment center where team members fulfill customer orders in a physical store for delivery by Dashers. The role involves picking and packing orders placed through the DoorDash app, preparing them for Dasher pickup, managing inventory and spoilage, organizing and cleaning the warehouse, and ensuring customer-approved substitutions. DashMart sites may open early, close late, or operate 24/7. Morning, day, evening, and overnight shifts are available, including weekend and part-time options.

The role offers a base pay of $15.65 per hour, with a $2 pay increase for hours worked from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Compensation may vary based on skills, relevant experience, and work location. Employees may have opportunities for pay increases twice a year based on performance and career advancement.

Requirements

• Be reliable, positive, and team-oriented.
• Have experience in grocery, food service, or warehouse operations.
• Be detail-oriented and passionate about fresh food quality and safety.
• Be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in refrigerated areas, with or without accommodation.
• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Be willing to complete a Food Handler's Certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders received through the DoorDash app, pack them, and hand them off to Dashers.
• Stock received items and manage inventory, including monitoring shelf life and spoilage.
• Clean and organize the warehouse.
• Ensure customer approval for substitutions.
