DashMart Team Member - Charleston
About The Position
DashMart is a DoorDash-owned and operated local fulfillment center where team members fulfill orders placed through the DoorDash app. Team members pick and pack customer orders and hand them off to Dashers for delivery. They also stock received goods, manage inventory and product shelf life, keep the warehouse clean and organized, and ensure customer approval for substitutions. The role may involve morning, daytime, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts; part-time work is offered. Team members may work in refrigerated areas and must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without accommodation.
Requirements
- Be reliable, positive, and team-oriented.
- Experience in grocery, food service, or warehouse operations.
- Be detail-oriented and passionate about fresh food quality and safety.
- Be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in refrigerated areas, with or without accommodation.
- Have a high school diploma or GED.
- Be willing to complete a Food Handler's Certification upon hire.
Responsibilities
- Pick orders received through the app, pack them, and hand them off to Dashers.
- Stock received goods and manage inventory, including product shelf life.
- Clean and organize the warehouse.
- Ensure substitutions are approved by the customer.
