About The Position

The Dacotah Dining Steward helps maintain a clean, sanitary, organized, and safe kitchen environment at Jackpot Junction in Morton, Minnesota. The role includes washing and sanitizing dishes and kitchen equipment, stocking supplies, assisting with deliveries and inventory, removing trash and recycling, and helping with basic food preparation and plating. The steward also checks that equipment is in good working order and reports maintenance or safety concerns to management. This is a full-time position with varied shifts, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization in the kitchen and related areas.
• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and other kitchen equipment.
• Stock and restock food, utensils, cleaning products, and other supplies.
• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
• Keep track of inventory and supplies.
• Remove and properly dispose of kitchen trash and recycling.
• Assist with basic food preparation and plating.
• Ensure kitchen equipment is in good working condition.
• Report maintenance or safety issues to management.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
