Afternoon Sales Representative - Onsite
About The Position
Ibex Pittsburgh is hiring an onsite Customer Support / Sales Representative for a program delivered in partnership with a satellite communications company providing high-speed, low-latency internet. The representative will handle inbound customer interactions, provide support, and promote satellite internet services. They will help customers understand product features, identify connectivity needs, recommend suitable plans and hardware, and close sales while delivering a positive customer experience. Paid training is provided on customer support and satellite internet technology. The position is based in person at 500 Penn Center Blvd, Monroeville, PA 15235. The stated shift availability is 2:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m., including Saturday and Sunday.
Requirements
- Strong communication and active listening skills.
- Ability to simplify and explain technical information to customers.
- Goal-driven mindset and passion for helping customers.
- Comfort using computers, multiple systems, and communication tools.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Flexibility to work various shifts depending on program needs.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or telecommunications is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Handle inbound interactions to provide customer support and promote satellite internet.
- Assist with equipment activation, password resets, service plan management, and general information inquiries.
- Complete service order requests and negotiate when needed.
- Create a positive customer experience by responding with empathy and patience and working to understand and resolve customer concerns.
- Explain product benefits, including speed, reliability, installation details, and service availability.
- Meet and exceed sales targets, conversion goals, and quality metrics.
- Process orders accurately, update customer information, and document interactions.
- Collaborate with leaders and trainers to improve product knowledge.
