About The Position

Nordstrom Rack is hiring seasonal and regular team members for Sales, Cashier, Stock, and/or Fulfillment roles at West Farm Shopping Center Rack. Team members work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment to make the customer experience quick, easy, and enjoyable while helping customers find deals. Applicants can discuss their role preferences during the interview process. Sales and Cashier team members support fitting room experiences, encourage participation in initiatives such as Nordstrom Rewards, keep stockrooms organized, maintain a ready sales floor, assist customers with transactions, use store technologies, and resolve customer situations. Stock Support and Fulfillment team members receive and distribute merchandise, fulfill and ship orders to quality standards, use inventory systems, maintain organized store areas, and provide general store support. The position requires clear communication, accountability, initiative, organization, attention to detail, prioritization, and flexibility to work based on business needs. Stock Support and Fulfillment roles also require frequent lifting and carrying of up to 25 pounds and occasional lifting and carrying of up to 50 pounds. The posted pay range is $17.80–$18.50 per hour; offers depend on location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The position may be eligible for performance-based incentives or bonuses.

Responsibilities

Create a smooth fitting room experience by greeting customers, taking them to fitting rooms, and sorting and returning clothing to the floor.
Motivate and inspire others to adopt initiatives such as the Nordstrom Rewards program.
Keep stockrooms organized and complete inventory processes, ensuring merchandise is properly checked in and accurately ticketed.
Keep the sales floor runway-ready through re-merchandising and straightening throughout the day.
Assist customers with transactions in a seamless and friendly manner.
Demonstrate expertise in technologies used in the store environment.
Defuse customer situations and provide timely, effective resolutions.
Receive and unload freight, unpack merchandise, and deliver newly arrived items to selling departments.
Fulfill customer orders promptly while following quality standards.
Prepare and ship customer orders according to quality, packing, and shipping standards.
Use inventory management systems to scan, process, and research merchandise shipments in accordance with inventory control processes.
Help maintain clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms.
Provide general store support, including setting up special events, organizing the backroom, completing markdowns, and relocating store fixtures.
