About The Position

The Au Bon Pain Customer Service Specialist performs a variety of food-service duties, including food preparation, cashiering, customer service, processing GET orders, stocking, and cleaning. The role requires following Au Bon Pain policies and food safety and sanitation procedures. The position is 35 hours per week, with a swing shift based on operational needs. The primary shift is 8:45 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., Monday through Friday, with rotating Sundays. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. The University does not provide work visa sponsorship for this position.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to write and communicate effectively in English.
Basic math skills.
Ability to work independently with an appropriate amount of supervision.
Ability to exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to four hours.
Ability to lift equipment and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to walk, bend, stoop, and use finger dexterity for periods of up to four hours at a time.
Ability to stand for up to four hours at a time.
Ability to visibly differentiate colors for food safety purposes.
Ability to work around wet floors, temperature extremes, and loud noise.
Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Nice To Haves
