About The Position

As a Nordstrom Rack team member, you will work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, collaborating with teammates to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for customers. You will help provide a quick and easy customer experience while keeping the store clean and clutter-free. You may work in different areas of the store to maintain the sales floor and stockrooms and help customers find merchandise. The role is listed as seasonal and regular.

Requirements

• Ability to handle bulky and awkwardly shaped items, including reaching and lifting items above the head.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Keep the sales floor runway-ready, sized, and filled through re-merchandising and straightening throughout the day.
• Assist customers with in-store, online, and mobile transactions while cashiering; operate the point-of-sale system, bag items, handle bulky or heavy items, and provide a friendly experience.
• Support fitting room operations by greeting and assisting customers and sorting and returning clothing to the sales floor.
• Sort and return clothing to maintain a clean, clutter-free customer experience.
• Organize stockrooms and ensure merchandise is properly checked in and accurately ticketed.
• Demonstrate expertise in technologies used in the store environment.
• Follow operational, merchandise, and asset protection standards.
• Promote initiatives such as the Nordstrom Rewards program.
