About The Position

Nordstrom Rack is seeking team members for roles in Sales, Cashier, Stock, and/or Fulfillment. Team members help create a quick, easy, and enjoyable customer experience in a fast-paced, high-energy store environment. Applicants can discuss their preferred role during the interview process. Sales and Cashier team members support fitting-room experiences, encourage adoption of initiatives such as Nordstrom Rewards, keep stockrooms organized, maintain an orderly and well-merchandised sales floor, assist customers with transactions, use store technologies, and resolve customer concerns. Stock Support and Fulfillment team members receive and process merchandise, fulfill and ship customer orders to quality standards, use inventory-management systems, maintain clean and organized selling areas and stockrooms, and provide general store support. The role requires flexible scheduling based on business needs. Pay is $15.90–$16.50 per hour, with offers depending on location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The position may be eligible for performance-based incentives or bonuses. Benefits are subject to eligibility requirements based on location, job level, classification, and length of employment.

Requirements

For Stock Support or Fulfillment roles, ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Create a smooth fitting-room experience by greeting customers, taking them to fitting rooms, and sorting and returning clothing to the floor.
Motivate and inspire others to adopt initiatives such as the Nordstrom Rewards program.
Keep stockrooms organized and complete inventory processes, ensuring merchandise is checked in and accurately ticketed.
Keep the sales floor ready through re-merchandising and straightening throughout the day.
Assist customers with a variety of transactions in a seamless and friendly manner.
Demonstrate expertise in technologies used in the store environment.
Defuse customer situations and provide timely, effective resolutions.
Receive and unload freight, unpack merchandise, and deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments.
Fulfill customer orders promptly while following quality standards.
Prepare and ship customer orders according to quality, packing, and shipping standards.
Use inventory-management systems to scan, process, and research merchandise shipments in accordance with inventory-control processes.
Help maintain clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms.
Provide general store support, such as setting up special events, organizing the backroom, processing markdowns, and relocating store fixtures.
