About The Position

National Fitness Partners, the largest Planet Fitness franchise, serves over one million members across more than 200 clubs and aims to provide an affordable, Judgement Free fitness experience. The Customer Service Representative provides customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests, helping create an exceptional member experience. The position is part-time at the Carmel, Indiana location, starting at $12 per hour. Hourly increases are provided at 180 days, one year, and every six months thereafter based on the employee’s anniversary date. Two schedule options are listed: Saturday–Sunday, 2 pm–7 pm, and Monday–Tuesday, 8 pm–11 pm; or Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 4:45 am–8 am.

Requirements

• Customer service experience.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Able to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull; lift up to 75 lbs.
• Able to work with cleaning chemicals during the shift.
• Able to frequently climb, balance, kneel, and crouch during the shift.
• Able to continually reach with hands, fingers, and arms during the shift.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a superior level of customer service to members, prospective members, and guests.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner using the information script.
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point-of-sale system.
• Promote PE@PF fitness instruction classes to active and new members.
• Help provide a clean, sanitized, and safe club environment.
