About The Position

National Fitness Partners, the largest Planet Fitness franchise, is seeking a Part-Time Customer Service Representative for its South Rock Hill club in Rock Hill, South Carolina. The role provides customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests, with the goal of creating an exceptional Judgement Free member experience. The position starts at $11 per hour, with increases at 180 days, one year, and every six months thereafter based on the employee’s anniversary date. The schedule is flexible, with weekday hours listed as Monday through Friday, 4:45 a.m.–10:00 a.m., plus weekday and weekend flex shifts as needed. Open availability is required.

Requirements

• Customer service experience.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling; must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during the shift.
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling, and crouching during the shift.
• Continual reaching with hands, fingers, and arms during the shift.
• Open availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a superior level of customer service to members, prospective members, and guests.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner using the information script.
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Process beverage and merchandise purchases through the point-of-sale system.
• Promote PE@PF fitness instruction classes to active and new members.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and safe club environment.
