About The Position
Domino’s Pizza is hiring Customer Service Representatives for a store owned and operated by an independent franchisee. The role offers flexible scheduling, with short or long shifts and part-time or full-time hours available. Customer Service Representatives take and process orders, provide customer service, and carry out store tasks while following directions and quality standards. The work involves indoor and outdoor duties in a compact, active store environment, including exposure to temperature changes, food odors, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Physical tasks include unloading and stocking deliveries, bending, reaching, handling pizza-making tools and ingredients, and using a telephone.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
- Ability to make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Ability to follow directives, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and well with others, work well under stress, meet quality standards, provide excellent customer service, analyze and compile data, and make sound judgments and decisions.
- Ability to lift deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds and place cases on shelves up to 72 inches high.
- Eye-hand coordination and ability to use hands continuously, including forceful use of forearms and wrists for shaping dough.
- Talking and hearing on the telephone; depth perception and near- and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks; ability to distinguish hot from cold surfaces.
- Far and night vision required for driving.
Responsibilities
- Take and process orders using verbal, writing, and telephone skills.
- Provide excellent customer service and follow directives and strict quality control standards.
- Perform repetitive tasks, work independently and with others, and make sound judgments and decisions.
- Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and stock products and supplies on shelves.
- Perform store tasks such as removing trash, changing prices on signs, washing walls, cleaning, and maintenance.
- Shape pizza dough, assemble pizza boxes, handle ingredients, and use pizza-making tools.
- Answer phones and perform other front-counter and in-store duties.
