About The Position

National Fitness Partners is seeking a part-time Customer Service Representative for its Planet Fitness club in Baltimore, Maryland. The role provides customer service to members, prospective members, and guests while helping create an exceptional Judgement Free member experience and maintaining a clean, sanitized, and safe club environment. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday from 6:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., starting at $15 per hour. Hourly increases are scheduled at 180 days, one year, and every six months after the first year, based on the employee’s anniversary date.

Requirements

• Customer service experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling; must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Must work with cleaning chemicals during the shift.
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling, and crouching during the shift.
• Continual reaching with hands, fingers, and arms during the shift.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a superior level of customer service to members, prospective members, and guests.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner using the information script.
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point-of-sale system.
• Promote PE@PF fitness instruction classes to active and new members.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and safe club environment.
