About The Position

National Fitness Partners is seeking a part-time Customer Service Representative at its Planet Fitness club in Springfield, Massachusetts. The role provides customer service to members, prospective members, and guests, helping create an exceptional Judgement Free member experience in a clean, sanitized, and safe club. The stated schedule is 4 p.m.–10 p.m. Thursday, 1 p.m.–7 p.m. Saturday, and 3 p.m.–7 p.m. Sunday. Starting pay is $15 per hour, with hourly increases at 180 days, one year, and every six months after the first year, based on the anniversary date. Shift-differential pay is available for select shifts.

Requirements

• Customer service experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Able to perform frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling; climbing, balancing, kneeling, and crouching; and continual reaching with hands, fingers, and arms.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during the shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide a superior level of customer service to members, prospective members, and guests.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner using the information script.
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point-of-sale system.
• Promote PE@PF fitness instruction classes to active and new members.
• Provide a clean, sanitized, and safe club environment.
