About The Position

National Fitness Partners is seeking a part-time Customer Service Representative for its Planet Fitness club in Belair, Baltimore, Maryland. The role provides customer service to members, prospective members, and guests to help deliver an exceptional Judgement Free experience. Schedule options are Monday through Friday, 4 p.m.–9 p.m.; Monday through Friday, 12 p.m.–4 p.m.; or Thursday and Friday, 2 p.m.–9 p.m. Pay starts at $15 per hour, with hourly increases at 180 days, one year, and every six months after the first year based on the employee’s anniversary date. Select shifts receive differential pay.

Requirements

• Customer service experience.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling; must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during the shift.
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling, and crouching during the shift.
• Continual reaching with hands, fingers, and arms during the shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide a superior level of customer service to members, prospective members, and guests.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner using the information script.
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point-of-sale system.
• Promote PE@PF fitness instruction classes to active and new members.
• Help maintain a clean, sanitized, and safe club environment.
