About The Position

National Fitness Partners is hiring a part-time Customer Service Representative for its Planet Fitness club in Indianapolis, Indiana. The role provides customer service to members, prospective members, and guests while helping maintain a clean, sanitized, safe, and welcoming club. The listed starting pay is $12.00 per hour, with hourly increases at 180 days, one year, and every six months thereafter based on the employee’s anniversary date. Shift-differential pay is available for select shifts. The stated availability requirement is Friday and Saturday afternoons or evenings; additional shifts may be available depending on the applicant’s availability or club needs.

Requirements

• Customer service experience.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling; must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during the shift.
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling, and crouching during the shift.
• Continual reaching with hands, fingers, and arms during the shift.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a superior level of customer service to members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring an exceptional Judgement Free member experience.
• Provide a clean, sanitized, and safe club environment.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner using the information script.
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point-of-sale system.
• Promote PE@PF fitness instruction classes to active and new members.
