About The Position

National Fitness Partners is hiring a part-time Customer Service Representative at its Middleburg Heights location in Cleveland, Ohio. The role provides customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests, supporting an exceptional Judgement Free member experience. Starting pay is $12 per hour, with a consistent schedule based on availability. Hourly increases are offered at 180 days, one year, and every six months thereafter based on the employee’s anniversary date. Select shifts offer differential pay.

Requirements

• Customer service experience.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to follow a script to deliver information to prospects and members.
• Ability to work by yourself.
• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling; must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during the shift.
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling, and crouching during the shift.
• Continual reaching with hands, fingers, and arms during the shift.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a superior level of customer service to members, prospective members, and guests.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner using the information script.
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Process beverage and merchandise purchases through the point-of-sale system.
• Promote PE@PF fitness instruction classes to active and new members.
• Help provide a clean, sanitized, and safe club environment.
