Customer Service Representative Part Time
About The Position
K&G Fashion Superstore is hiring a part-time Customer Service Representative to support the customer experience in its stores. The role handles customer purchases, returns, exchanges, store credits, and discounted transactions according to standard operating procedures, while properly securing cash and other negotiable documents. Representatives also use suggestive selling techniques, respond to customer inquiries, assist with merchandise replenishment and store recovery, help maintain store and fitting-room areas, and stay informed about product information, point-of-sale instructions, promotions, and advertisements. The position requires a customer-focused approach, willingness to learn and adapt to new programs, and the ability to work well with associates at all levels while contributing to a positive work environment. The role involves standing and walking for most of a shift, frequently bending, squatting, and twisting, lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing a ladder, and distinguishing fabric patterns and colors. Requirements

Responsibilities
- Handle customer purchases, returns, exchanges, store credits, and discounted transactions in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Properly secure cash and other negotiable documents.
- Use suggestive selling techniques while assisting customers and respond to customer inquiries and needs.
- Assist with merchandise replenishment, store layout, and recovery.
- Help with general store housekeeping and monitor and maintain floor stock and fitting-room areas.
- Maintain awareness of product information, point-of-sale instructions, merchandise promotions, and advertisements.
