Customer Service Representative Part Time
About The Position
K&G Fashion Superstore is hiring a part-time Customer Service Representative to support the customer experience in its store. The representative handles customer purchases, returns, exchanges, store credits, and discounted transactions according to standard operating procedures, while properly securing cash and other negotiable documents. The role also involves assisting customers with suggestive selling and responding to inquiries, replenishing merchandise, supporting store layout and recovery, maintaining housekeeping and floor stock, and keeping fitting room areas maintained. Representatives are expected to stay informed about product information, point-of-sale instructions, promotions, and advertisements. The position requires standing and walking for most of the shift, as well as frequent bending, squatting, and twisting. Employees may need to lift up to 50 pounds, climb a ladder to reach merchandise or supplies, and distinguish fabric patterns and colors. Responsibilities
- Follow standard operating procedures for customer purchases, returns, exchanges, store credits, and discounted transactions, and properly secure cash and other negotiable documents.
- Use suggestive selling techniques and respond to customer inquiries and needs.
- Assist with merchandise replenishment, store layout, recovery, and general housekeeping.
- Monitor and maintain floor stock and fitting room areas.
- Maintain awareness of product information, point-of-sale instructions, merchandise promotions, and advertisements.
