About The Position

U-Haul is seeking a friendly, motivated Customer Service Representative to assist customers and help maintain equipment at a U-Haul center. The role involves providing customer service, managing rentals and inventory with smartphone-based technology, and inspecting and maintaining trucks and trailers. The position offers on-the-job education and ongoing training through U-Haul University. This is a new facility; training will take place at 11425 Digital Ct, Sparks, Nevada 89441. Requirements

Valid driver's license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require employer sponsorship.
Ability to move equipment weighing at least 50 pounds, with or without assistance.

Responsibilities

Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with U-Haul products and services.
Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
Clean and inspect equipment on the lot, including checking fluid levels.
Answer customer questions and explain products and services.
Prepare rental invoices and accept returned rental equipment.
Install hitches and trailer wiring.
Fill propane; certification is offered through U-Haul after employment.
Drive a forklift; certification is offered through U-Haul after employment.
Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
Perform other duties as assigned.
