About The Position

Chevron Stations Inc. is hiring a Customer Service Representative to provide customer service and perform cashiering, cooking, stocking, and cleaning duties at Chevron Gas Station CSI #1010 in Sherwood, Oregon. The posted schedule is full-time, Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The role includes handling retail and fuel transactions, preparing food and beverages, maintaining station facilities, managing merchandise and foodservice inventory, and following safety, security, food-handling, cash-handling, and company procedures. Requirements

Be sufficiently proficient in English to understand CSI policies, safety training, and job instructions and to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers about work-related matters.
Be available to work a variety of hours, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays.
Have strong attention to detail.
Handle challenging situations professionally and exercise exceptional judgment.
Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Possess current food-handling certificates when required by law in the applicable location.
Be at least 18 years old to work in California or Oregon; at least 21 to work in Washington, on the graveyard shift from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., or in management positions.
Meet the physical demands of prolonged standing and walking on hard or uneven surfaces; bending, lifting, pushing, and moving products using proper lifting techniques; and frequent reaching and manual dexterity.
Use the team-lift concept for objects that are too heavy or awkward, and for objects weighing more than 25 pounds.
Work safely with equipment that can reach and retain very high temperatures, using appropriate personal protective equipment.
Tolerate periodic exposure to outdoor conditions during daylight hours and moderate exposure to walk-in coolers and freezers at 34°F or lower.
Maintain personal cleanliness and perform frequent handwashing.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional guest service; greet and thank customers courteously and make eye contact.
Conduct retail and fuel point-of-sale transactions accurately and safely using multiple forms of payment.
Maintain the cash drawer within the maximum level, secure funds in a safe, and reconcile the cashier register at the end of each shift.
Follow CSI cash-handling policies, guidelines, and procedures.
Clean indoor and outdoor station facilities, including restrooms, islands, pumps, and the car wash when applicable.
Prepare food and hot beverage products, including cooking Krispy Krunchy Chicken products according to applicable sanitation procedures.
Monitor and restock ExtraMile and/or KKC foodservice and beverage products to maximize sales and minimize loss.
Promote store specials and other marketing programs.
Check delivered-goods prices for accuracy, distribute deliveries throughout the store, and keep retail and cooler shelves stocked.
Activate and fill vehicle fuel tanks with gasoline or diesel to specified levels in accordance with local laws (Oregon only).
Maintain professional contact with coworkers, customers, vendors, contractors, and the community.
Follow safety, security, quality, loss-prevention, company, and food-safety procedures; promptly report accidents or incidents to the manager.
Follow applicable age-verification laws and company standards for age-restricted products.
Maintain a neat appearance and good personal hygiene in accordance with CSI standards.
Attend work regularly and punctually.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
