About The Position

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for new member sales and creating a positive member experience by providing a superior level of customer service to members, prospective members, and guests. This is a non-supervisory, non-exempt role reporting to the Club Manager. The posting identifies the position as full-time or part-time and specifies a night shift in the job title.

Requirements

Honesty and a good work ethic.
Strong customer service skills.
Basic computer proficiency.
Ability to stand and walk for at least 75% of the shift.
Ability to talk in person or on the phone for at least 75% of the shift.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds for less than 30% of the time.

Responsibilities

Greet potential members and provide a great customer experience.
Handle front-desk tasks, including answering calls politely and helping with questions or concerns.
Take information calls and provide tours.
Assist with member check-ins, sign-ups, cancellations, BCM amenity usage, and updates to member account information.
Address member service issues and questions, and refer them to the Club Manager, Manager in Training, or Team Lead as needed.
Help maintain the neatness and cleanliness of the club.
Interact with customers, coworkers, and the public in a way that exceeds their wants and needs.
Listen actively, empathize with customers, and work with them to solve problems.
Recognize and define problems, analyze relevant information, encourage alternative solutions, plan resolutions, and seek assistance when needed.
Use tact, skill, appropriate behavior, and language in interactions.
Communicate questions, concerns, or issues to a supervisor in a timely manner.
