About The Position
The Customer Service Representative works in Patient Registration at Ascension St. Vincent Joshua Max Simon Primary Care Center. This role is often the first point of contact for patients checking in and helps them navigate registration with clear, compassionate support. The representative gathers accurate information, answers questions, and builds trust with patients who may be ill, anxious, confused, or overwhelmed. The representative coordinates with clinicians and emergency staff, adapts to interruptions during urgent care situations, and receives training in healthcare workflows, insurance basics, and coverage details. No prior healthcare experience is required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong customer service experience.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test and meet vaccination requirements.
