About The Position

The Customer Service Rep takes customer orders by phone and in person, provides helpful and positive service, and supports store production and cleanliness. The role uses suggestive selling, confirms orders and estimated delivery times, and handles carry-out customers with the same level of service as callers. When requested by the manager, the representative may take carry-out payments. The position also assists with pizza preparation, stocking supplies and coolers, folding and topping boxes, and maintaining the store’s image and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Take customer orders in a positive manner and answer customer questions.
• Use suggestive selling techniques on every call.
• Answer the phone on the first ring and avoid placing customers on hold.
• Complete orders promptly and ensure they are neat and accurate.
• Keep the phone and customer area clean.
• Repeat each order back to the customer and provide the approximate delivery time.
• Thank every customer and tell them the time of the order.
• Provide carry-out customers with the same customer service as callers.
• Assist with making pizzas whenever possible.
• Keep the makeline and soda coolers stocked and production supplies available.
• Take carry-out customer payments when requested by the manager in charge.
• Maintain the image standards set by the company.
• Assist the safe delivery specialist with store cleanliness and maintenance.
• Assist with folding boxes and boxing topped pizzas when asked.
