Customer Service Associate
About The Position
Models and delivers a distinctive, delightful customer experience. Registers sales on an assigned cash register and provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service. The role also supports store operations, merchandising, asset protection, photo services, web pickup, and store maintenance while complying with company policies and applicable state and local laws. Attends training and completes assigned learning modules (PPLs). Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English, except in Puerto Rico, and willing to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities
- Greet customers and patients, offer assistance with products and services, resolve issues, and answer questions.
- Model and share customer-service best practices, including courteous interpersonal habits and proactively identifying and meeting customer needs.
- Provide fast, courteous, friendly, and efficient service; recommend products, trade-up items, and companion items.
- Process customer purchases and handle cash, change, voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges.
- Keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised; take inventory and maintain records.
- Check in and price merchandise as required or directed by the store manager or shift leader.
- Follow company asset-protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss.
- Comply with state and local laws governing regulated products, such as alcoholic beverages and tobacco products.
- Construct and maintain promotional, seasonal, super-structure, and sale displays; complete resets and revisions as directed.
- Separate food items and place products according to policies and procedures, including placement of raw and frozen meats on bottom shelves.
- Rotate consumable stock using the first-in, first-out method and restock outs.
- Use store systems and equipment; provide photo-area customer service, including digital passport photos, poster printing, creative-machine services, and promotional photo-product recommendations.
- Monitor and fulfill web pickup orders in Picture Care Plus and deliver orders to customers when they arrive at the store.
- Help maintain clean, neat, orderly interior and exterior store conditions.
- Comply with company policies and procedures and maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
- Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
- Attend training and complete PPLs requested by the manager or assigned by corporate.
