About The Position
T-Mobile is hiring an Account Associate for its Account Care team. The role focuses on inbound calls and managing customer relationships by proactively resolving issues and delivering thoughtful account support. Associates receive hands-on, on-the-job training, real-time feedback, and support to build skills and grow within the company. Starting pay is $20 per hour, with opportunities to earn up to $30 per hour in the first year through a defined growth path and performance milestones. During training, associates may earn up to $750 for completing training milestones. After training, associates promote to Account Expert and become eligible for an annualized incentive target of $4,400, with actual incentives varying by performance and full-time status. Employees are guaranteed to earn $20 per hour inclusive of base pay and incentives. Qualifying Experts may be eligible for a hybrid schedule after 60 days following training graduation, based on performance and attendance goals. The position is onsite. Travel is not required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Knowledge of Windows, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Basic proficiency with email, chat systems, online forms, and cloud-based tools such as Google Workspace or Microsoft Teams.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Adapt to new software, apps, and communication platforms with minimal instruction.
- Provide proactive and timely resolutions for customer inquiries and concerns.
- Build customer loyalty and add value through account management, identifying opportunities for additional products, services, and solutions.
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences using training tools, resources, and personal expertise.
- Meet department productivity and quality standards.
- Complete training requirements to develop skills, expand knowledge, and grow within T-Mobile.
