About The Position
Bar Harbor Bank & Trust is seeking a full-time Customer Service Representative for its Brewer, Maine branch. The representative serves as the first point of contact for customers, supports their day-to-day financial needs, and builds trusted relationships. This 40-hour-per-week role focuses on developing general banking knowledge and mastering routine transactions, including account opening. The position offers opportunities for growth and advancement. Compensation is based on factors such as experience, skills, and geographic location, with a pay range of $15.50 to $20.00.
Requirements
- Interest and experience in customer service.
- Working knowledge of Windows.
Responsibilities
- Help customers identify their financial needs and recommend additional products and services.
- Recognize opportunities and make referrals for loans, trusts, investments, insurance, and other bank services.
- Develop banking knowledge and contribute to branch goals, including deposit and loan goals.
- Build trusting relationships with people in the communities the bank serves.
- Participate in and advocate for community growth and prosperity.
- Process customer transactions promptly, efficiently, courteously, and professionally.
- Provide exceptional customer service, resolve inquiries effectively, and follow through with customers.
- Learn and master routine banking transactions, including account opening.
