About The Position

The Customer Sales Associate serves as a trusted advisor to customers visiting Trane Supply stores. The role supports customers with parts and equipment issues, recommends appropriate products and solutions, and aims to deliver accurate, timely service. The associate maintains knowledge of Trane products, offerings, and promotions; contributes to sales goals; manages quotes and orders; and helps with warehouse and inventory tasks as needed. The position is on-site five days per week and may require overtime or weekend work.

Requirements

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Inside sales, retail, or related experience.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, with an emphasis on customer service, continuous improvement, and safety.
• Demonstrated ability to build customer relationships and maintain professional customer service in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Support customers and determine effective ways to resolve problems and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Build customer sales by identifying related products and add-on extensions.
• Process customer orders and respond to inquiries, questions, and complaints about Parts and Supply offerings, providing solutions that support customer satisfaction and future sales.
• Stay current on Trane products, offerings, and promotions to provide a high-quality customer experience and drive sales.
• Interact with customers by phone and in person.
• Accurately execute quote and order management processes, including entering quotes and invoices and following through on fulfillment to support timely delivery.
• Assist with warehouse and inventory management work as needed.
• Work overtime or weekends as required.
