About The Position

The Customer Sales Associate serves as a trusted advisor to customers visiting Trane Supply stores. The role supports customers with parts and equipment issues, provides parts and solutions, and helps ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction. The associate maintains knowledge of Trane products, offerings, and promotions; supports sales goals; manages quotes and orders; and assists with warehouse and inventory work as needed. The position is on-site five days per week and may require overtime or weekend work.

Requirements

High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
Inside sales, retail, or related experience.
Experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment emphasizing customer service, continuous improvement, and safety.
Demonstrated ability to build customer relationships and maintain professional customer service in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer support and determine effective ways to resolve problems and ensure satisfaction.
Identify related products or add-on extensions to help grow sales.
Process customer orders and respond to inquiries, questions, or complaints about Parts and Supply offerings; provide solutions that support customer satisfaction and future sales.
Maintain current knowledge of Trane products, offerings, and promotions to provide a high-quality customer experience and drive sales.
Interact with customers in person and by phone.
Accurately execute quote and order management processes, including entering quotes and invoices and following through on fulfillment to support timely delivery.
Assist with warehouse and inventory management as needed.
Work overtime or weekends as required.
