About The Position

The Customer Sales Associate serves as a trusted advisor to customers visiting Trane Supply stores. The role supports customer needs involving parts and equipment, provides timely parts and solutions, drives sales, and manages quotes and orders to support accurate fulfillment and customer satisfaction. The associate stays current on Trane products, offerings, and promotions and may assist with warehouse and inventory management as needed. This is an on-site role, five days per week, with flexibility to work overtime and weekends when required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Inside sales, retail, or related experience.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, emphasizing customer service, continuous improvement, and safety.
• Demonstrated ability to build customer relationships and maintain professional customer service in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Support customers and identify the best methods to resolve problems and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Build sales by identifying related products and add-on extensions for customers.
• Process customer orders and respond to inquiries, questions, or complaints about Parts and Supply offerings, providing solutions that support satisfaction and future sales.
• Maintain current knowledge of Trane products, offerings, and promotions to provide a premier customer experience and drive sales.
• Interact with customers by phone and in person.
• Accurately execute quote and order management processes, including entering quotes and invoices and following through on fulfillment to support timely delivery.
• Assist with warehouse and inventory management work as needed.
• Work overtime or weekends when required.
