About The Position

The Customer Sales Associate supports customers visiting Trane Supply stores and serves as a trusted advisor for parts and equipment needs. The role helps resolve customer issues, recommends appropriate products and solutions, and delivers parts and service in a timely manner. Success requires knowledge of Trane products and offerings, achievement of sales goals, strong problem-solving and customer-service skills, and ownership of quote and order management to support accurate fulfillment and customer satisfaction. The associate interacts with customers in person and by phone and may assist with warehouse and inventory management.

Requirements

High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
Inside sales, retail, or related experience.
Experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, with an emphasis on customer service, continuous improvement, and safety.
Demonstrated ability to build customer relationships and maintain professional customer service in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

Support customers and determine the best way to resolve problems and ensure customer satisfaction.
Build sales by identifying related products or add-on extensions for customers.
Process customer orders and respond to inquiries, questions, or complaints about Parts and Supply offerings, providing solutions that support customer satisfaction and future sales.
Maintain current knowledge of Trane products, offerings, and promotions to provide a strong customer experience and drive sales.
Interact with customers by phone and in person.
Execute quote and order management processes accurately, including entering quotes and invoices and following through on fulfillment to support timely delivery.
Assist with warehouse and inventory management as needed.
Work overtime or weekends as required.
