About The Position

The Customer Sales Associate is a customer-facing role in a Trane Supply store, serving as a trusted advisor and helping customers resolve parts and equipment issues. The associate provides timely, high-quality parts and solutions, supports customer satisfaction and sales growth, and takes ownership of quote and order management to help ensure accurate transactions and fulfillment. The role is performed on-site five days a week and may include warehouse or inventory work as needed. Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Inside sales, retail, or related experience.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment emphasizing customer service, continuous improvement, and safety.
• Demonstrated ability to build customer relationships and maintain professional customer service in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Help customers resolve problems and provide support to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Identify related products and add-on extensions to help grow sales.
• Process customer orders and respond to inquiries, questions, or complaints about Parts and Supply offerings; offer solutions that support customer satisfaction and future sales.
• Stay current on Trane products, offerings, and promotions to provide a premier customer experience and drive sales.
• Interact with customers by phone and in person.
• Accurately execute quote and order management processes, including entering quotes and invoices and following through on fulfillment to support timely delivery.
• Assist with warehouse and inventory management work as needed.
• Work overtime or weekends as required.
