About The Position

The Customer Sales Associate serves as a trusted advisor to customers visiting Trane Supply stores. The role helps customers resolve parts and equipment issues and provides parts and solutions in a timely manner. It requires knowledge of product offerings, achievement of sales goals, strong problem-solving, and ownership of order management to support smooth transactions and customer satisfaction. The position is on-site five days a week and may require overtime or weekend work as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Inside sales, retail, or related experience.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment emphasizing customer service, continuous improvement, and safety.
• Demonstrated ability to build customer relationships and maintain professional customer service, including in challenging situations.
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Support customers and determine effective ways to resolve problems and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Identify related products or add-on extensions to help grow sales.
• Process customer orders and respond to inquiries, questions, or complaints about Parts and Supply offerings; offer solutions that support customer satisfaction and future sales.
• Maintain current knowledge of Trane products, offerings, and promotions to provide a strong customer experience and drive sales.
• Interact with customers by phone and in person.
• Execute quote and order management accurately, including entering quotes and invoices and following through on fulfillment to support timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Assist with warehouse and inventory management as needed.
