About The Position

The Customer Sales Associate serves as a trusted advisor to customers visiting Trane Supply stores. The role assists customers with parts and equipment issues, provides parts and solutions, and supports customer satisfaction through timely service. The associate uses product knowledge and problem-solving skills to achieve sales goals, identify related products or add-on extensions, and manage orders accurately from quote through fulfillment. The position is on-site five days per week and may require overtime or weekend work.

Requirements

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Inside sales, retail, or related experience.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment emphasizing customer service, continuous improvement, and safety.
• Demonstrated ability to build customer relationships and maintain professional customer service in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Support customers and identify effective ways to resolve problems and ensure satisfaction.
• Partner with customers to grow sales by identifying related products or add-on extensions.
• Process customer orders and respond to inquiries, questions, or complaints about Parts and Supply offerings; provide solutions that support customer satisfaction and future sales.
• Stay current on Trane products, offerings, and promotions to provide a premier customer experience and drive sales.
• Interact with customers by phone and in person.
• Execute quote and order management processes accurately, including entering quotes and invoices and following through on fulfillment to support timely delivery.
• Assist with warehouse and inventory management as needed.
• Work overtime or weekends as required.
