Customer Sales Associate
About The Position
The Customer Sales Associate serves as a trusted advisor to customers visiting the Trane Supply store in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The role provides customer support, helps resolve parts and equipment issues, recommends suitable products and solutions, and works to meet sales goals. The associate manages customer orders, quotes, invoices, and fulfillment follow-through to support accurate, timely delivery and customer satisfaction. The position also requires keeping current on Trane products, offerings, and promotions, interacting with customers in person and by phone, and assisting with warehouse or inventory tasks as needed. The role is on-site five days per week and may require overtime or weekend work.
Requirements
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Inside sales, retail, or related experience.
- Experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment emphasizing customer service, continuous improvement, and safety.
- Demonstrated ability to build customer relationships and maintain professional customer service in challenging situations.
Responsibilities
- Support customers and identify effective ways to resolve problems and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Build sales by identifying related products or add-on extensions that meet customer needs.
- Process customer orders and respond to inquiries, questions, or complaints about Parts and Supply offerings, providing solutions that support customer satisfaction and future sales.
- Keep current on Trane products, offerings, and promotions to provide a strong customer experience and drive sales.
- Interact with customers by phone and in person.
- Execute quote and order management processes accurately, including entering quotes and invoices and following through on fulfillment.
- Assist with warehouse and inventory management work as needed.
- Work overtime or weekends as required.
